Voicethread

In the following link: http://voicethread.com/?#q.b1391 there is an example of a voicethread that my students could use in the classroom. This link is the story of The Three Little Pigs told by an elementary student with pictures that she selected on her own. If I were to use voicethread in my classroom I would have the students create similar projects.

Personal Thoughts

Tomorrow is my last day in the classroom and I do not know where the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday I was observing my students and preparing for my first lesson. Now that I have gotten a chance to teach lessons and get to know my students I do not want to leave my classroom. I will definitely miss the hugs and welcoming smiles that I get from my students everyday. While I am sad to leave my students and my cooperating teacher who has been so helpful, I am excited to move on to student teaching. Looking back at the entire Block B teaching experience I have definitely learned a lot and grown from my experience in the classroom.

What I have found to be useful!

What I have found to be useful!

I have found that the website animoto.com is very useful. Recently I used this blog to create a slide show for pictures of my friends since we are graduating soon. The animoto video that I created is embedded in this link. Not only is this tool useful for pictures but it easy to use and students could easily use this technology in the classroom to create their own slideshows.
